Humility

Hi everyone, Effective immediately. I will no longer be posting any artwork for the foreseeable year. I'm not going to stop drawing, but certain art related issues have manifested and I will be busy going back to the basics. I'm starting over in other words. I have not made enough progress in the last few years and I lack a proper understanding of the foundations of drawing (which is something many people have pointed out over the years). This is an impasse that could've been avoided had I chosen to listen to others who took time to critique my work. Thank you to all that have. Your thoughts and general advice was greatly appreciated, even though I didn't always show it. I have made this decision on my own accord and will proceed on the path I believe will yield the best results. Currently, I have started taking drawing classes online to help in this endeavor. Thank you for your support over the last few years. I will be in touch. Best Regards, Brian J. Gross

Art Blitz!

Hello everybody! So, I haven't been posting a lot since November. Actually not at all. I have been rethinking my Daily Sketch posting after listening to professional artist interview on YouTube. So from now, no more Daily Sketch posts. I will continue doing the Quotes every single day because a lot of people really appreciate them. "But wait, Brian! Are you giving up your art?" If you know me, you know not to ask such a stupid question. I'm changing the way I post and the way I do my projects. My New Years Resolutions are simple: 1) Get Organized 2) Learn and Study Hard 3) Practice even harder 4) And PUSH! Apart from this. My main focus will be to finish a project every two weeks and post the WIP along with the finished piece on Sundays. Starting February 2, I'll be posting my artwork on Sunday between 4 and 10 pm. I'm starting this in February because I want to lay out some plans for the year on which projects I want to do. There are going to 3 months this year where I will not be posting any artwork. They are: 1) January 2) May 3) December (Christmas time was really nuts this year and I'm expecting the same next year) I will also be working on my Portfolio, Resume, and Website too. More on this later. Thank you all for your support for the last decade.
